Frequently asked questions

How do these comparisons work?

Every fact about another provider comes from that provider's own site and shows the date it was checked. Every fact about Builders Camp comes from the same public pages you can read on this site. The tables hold facts only, with no scores, and prices stay in the currency each provider shows. A cross in a table means the provider does not offer or does not publish that item. Where a page compares prices across currencies, it names the exchange rate and the date used.

Why does Builders Camp publish comparisons?

People considering Builders Camp ask how it stacks up against the programs they already know. Answering in public, with sources, is more useful than answering one email at a time. Because Builders Camp is a party to every comparison, the pages stick to checkable facts.

Where do the facts come from?

Competitor facts come from each provider's own public pages, such as its pricing page, course pages and terms. Each page lists its sources with the date they were checked. When a provider does not publish something, the table says so instead of guessing.

How do you keep prices current?

Every competitor price shows the date it was checked, and each page shows a "Last checked" date near the top. That date moves only when the facts on the page have been checked again, not for small edits. Prices change without notice, so treat the provider's own site as final before you pay.

Why are some prices in dollars and others in euros?

Each price appears in the currency the provider shows on its site, and the tables never convert it. Where a page's text sets a dollar price against a euro price, it uses the European Central Bank reference rate of the date it names. Treat any conversion as a guide: your bank's rate and local taxes will differ.

What if a comparison is wrong or unfair?

Email hey@builderscamp.com with the page, what is wrong and a link to the correct information, and the page will be checked and corrected. Providers named on these pages are welcome to do the same.
